Mini C-Arm
Mini C-Arms are reserved mostly for clinics, especially for minor injuries. They can't take large images and come with 4-to-6-inch image intensifiers. They are cheaper and very mobile however and can take great pictures of hands, feet, elbows, and ankles. They are useful for identifying fractures in these parts of the body. A lot of these c-arms are integrated into their own workstation.

Compact C-Arm
Compact C-Arm Machines are larger than minis, but they are still shorter than their larger counterparts. Compacts can be integrated into their workstations like minis or can come in two pieces, like the full-size C-Arms. Compacts are a compromise between the largest and the smallest, great for many clinics and hospitals. The greatest advantage of the compact C-Arm is its mobility.

Large C-Arm
The large C-Arms are not only the biggest in size, but also the biggest names in the industry. You can find them in just about every facility, hospital, and clinic that performs imaging. Their intensifiers can get as large as 12" which makes them great for most operations. They also have a suite of surgery options such as vascular, cardio, bone, etc. Large C-Arms are also the most expensive.
